Styrofoam and Plastic: The Cause Of Floods? Hello, I return again to bring awareness of Plastic and Styrofoam pollution. When we last met, we witnessed the beginning of these mistaken inventions. Now in 2018, we are significantly affected, looking for solutions and fighting a 'never ending' battle. In Trinidad and Tobago, my beloved home, have recently faced by flooding from the rains brought about by the ITCZ ( Inter-tropical Convergence Zone). Infact, according to the local news station, CNC3, the central part of Trinidad was affected, where people said that the floods were nothing compared since 20 years ago. This was heartbreaking, but you're probably thinking what does this have to do with pollution?
